Born in Ontario but now a west coast girl, Aurezo started her career at a very young age in 2010 in Victoria BC. She graduated top of her class at Martier’s school of cosmetology and started working at a salon right away at the age of 16. Her biggest dream was to work on a cruise ship. Two years later she made that dream come true and made her way across the world to Europe to work overseas as a hairstylist on the P&O Azura in 2012. She found her love for weddings there where she became the bridal expert at the salon. Moving back to Victoria she worked at a salon in the heart of downtown and specialized in hair and makeup for weddings and local photo-shoots. On her spare time she also worked as a judge for BC Skills Canada in the hair division and taught updo classes at the local hairdressing school. Her love for hair and makeup continues to grow daily and has brought her to move to Vancouver where she is currently learning at the world renowned Blanche Macdonald Centre to further herself in the special effects and film makeup industry.
Upon finishing school she hopes to dip her toes in the film world while bringing the best service to her existing clientele. “I love meeting new people and educating clients on hair care. My favourite thing about weddings is being a part of the brides special day and being surrounded by the love from the family and guests. It’s such a beautiful day to be a part of. Hairdressing was my first love – I love how diverse it is and I take education very seriously.”
Although a workaholic at heart, when she does have down time she enjoys reading, hiking, and a lot of chocolate. She loves to be inspired and wants to inspire others to chase their dreams.
